💎I THOUGHT MALAS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE 108 BEADS. WHY ARE YOURS 111?
A traditional japa mala consists of 108 beads, plus one more “guru” bead. In eastern philosophy and yoga culture, it is a deeply sacred number. Among many other things, 108 is said to represent the wholeness of existence. When I first started this journey that led me to creating jewelry, I saw 11 (a master karmic number) and 111 (an angelic guidance number) all the time—in fact, I still do! For me, this is a magical reminder that I am on the right path and living my dream + soul purpose. Making my malas with 111 beads is my way of standing in my personal power, with uniqueness and independence...all things that the number 1 represents.
💎WHAT EVEN IS CRYSTAL REIKI??
I am a certified Reiki Master. (This is just a fancy way of saying I am Level 3 😃) Reiki is a form of energy healing, using the Universal energy field (Chi) that surrounds all living things. I channel the Universal Chi and send it out through my hands. It is a gentle, loving, relaxing, yet powerful energy that will ALWAYS go where it is needed most. It may settle into the subtle body, the emotional body, and or the physical body. I am also certified in Chakra and Crystal Healing. I use the properties of the crystals, such as their specific color energy or unique sacred geometry, to tap into your energy field, read for any blockages in your energetic body (such as the chakras), and send healing energy where it is needed.
For my jewelry, I have combined the two modalities for a more generic purpose. Please read: generic by no way means less powerful or effective! Every single piece of jewelry that I send out into the world is infused with Reiki for abundance, protection, happiness, healing, and love. The crystals within each piece do the rest. If you wear your jewelry a lot, you also need to cleanse and charge it a lot. Instructions to do so will be in your package. Please read my Medical Disclaimer here for more info.
💎WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Orders will be shipped out within two business days of receipt. I will ship your package via First Class Package Service, which you can expect 2-5 days after shipping. I will email you a tracking number once it is in the mail. IF there is a delay on my end I will reach out to you immediately. If you will need a faster shipping option, and that is not available to you upon checkout, please contact me BEFORE you purchase your item, and I can assist you. 💎DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS OR EXCHANGES?
To avoid the need for exchanges, refunds, or returns, please please please read each item listing thoroughly before purchasing. Sizing info can be found within each item's listing, directly after the main description. If there are any concerns or questions you have that are not answered, please reach out to me so we may discuss them. If you placed an order by mistake, please reach out to me before I ship it - you have approximately 1-2 business days to do so. After an item has shipped, I am unable to honor refunds or returns at this time UNLESS the mistake was on my end. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule. If you are really in a pickle, please contact me so we can figure things out. At the end of the day, I want you to love your purchase and be happy with your decision. 💎I THINK MY ITEM IS LOST IN THE MAIL!
Once a package has shipped it is out of my hands! I am not responsible for lost or damaged shipments. However, in my personal experience, the postal service may contain mini “Bermuda Triangles” and/or dark corners that exist out of time and space where packages slip into, disappear for a year or more, then suddenly reappear. (True story!) If this happens to your package, I promise to do my best to help you locate it. You can read my shipping policy HERE.
💎WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH THE EMAIL I GIVE YOU?
I will be sending out an email newsletter to discuss crystals, gemstones, magic, Unicorns, astrology, intuitive energy readings, yoga, and meditation, among many other things. I will also be letting my subscribers in on sneak peeks of new collections, private discount codes, early sales, and more. Frequency to be determined. You can unsubscribe at any time. I promise not to do anything shady with it, like selling it to a telemarketer or entering you in a giveaway you don't know about.
💎MY JEWELRY BROKE, HELP!
Unfortunately, it happens. I use wire, silk, nylon, wood, and genuine gemstones and crystals in my pieces. While each piece may last a long time with proper care, I deal in organic and natural materials and sometimes things break, or get snagged on something, or get caught in car doors..(true story.)
First off, if your item breaks, or gets damaged, please reach out to me, Becky, at magic@stardustandmoonshine.com with the word REPAIR in the subject line. I will deal with each incident on a case by case basis. Here are some general rules, though:
Bracelets: gather all the beads and materials you can find, and ship it back to me. You are responsible for return shipping costs. (Reach out to me for my address.) 9 times out of 10 I will fix your bracelet at no cost, IF all the beads/findings/charms are found and sent back to me. If all your beads vanished, you may need to pay for new materials. Again, it depends on each circumstance. We will discuss a plan that is best for both parties, should the need arise.
Malas: malas are labor intensive. I will need to re-string, re-knot, and create a brand new tassel. The base price for a mala repair is $33, NOT including any new materials that may need to be added. Reach out to me to discuss a game plan, and get my shipping address. You will pay for the return shipping. Remember to salvage the entire mala, if you can!
💎WHY IS MY MALA STRETCHING OUT?
First off, please read my guidelines on caring for your jewelry. I string all my 111 bead malas on genuine silk. If you follow me on Instagram, @stardustandmoonshinejewelry, and click on the Story highlight labeled "workspace", you can see the nifty, patented string-stretching contraption my husband built for me, in order to stretch out said silk. Even with a lot of aggressive pre-stretching, silk is an organic material and it WILL continue to stretch out over time, especially if you wear your mala a lot. That being said, some folks like their mala a little extra stretchy...it is easier to count the beads during meditation, if that is what you use your mala for. However, if your mala is getting too stretched for your liking, please reach out to me at magic@stardustandmoonshine.com with the word REPAIR in the subject line and we can discuss how to move forward. Yes, this will be considered a mala repair, with the base price of $33 applying.
